ABS/PMMA

This product is made out of a main layer which consists of easily thermoformable and high impact resistant ABS, while the covering layer is made from impact modified acrylic (PMMA). In order to ensure the colour fastness of the finished product even after long-term exterior use, the PMMA-layer gets homogeneously coloured in the shade of the carrier sheet.

Next to a range of standard colours, special colourings including metallic effects as well as different grains are available. The sheets can easily be processed by conventional thermoforming machines with top and bottom heating.

The extremely scratch-resistant PMMA surface can be delivered machine-finished or grained, as well as in matt or glossy quality. The impact resistance of the PMMA covering layer even allows complicated millings with CNC machines.

These co-extruded sheets are well suited for colouring which makes them a perfect choice for sanitary products, kitchens, medical furniture and much more.
