The official delivery of the first Streetscooter has been successfully made to the city of Übach Palenberg!

Universal Polythex provides high class plastic sheets that are thermoformed to finished parts of the exterior body of the Streetscooter. As a result, the cost-intensive painting process is eliminated and one also benefits from the significant weight reduction which leads to an increase of reach. The automobile manufacturer Streetscooter equips the fleet of the German Post and also serves other different markets.

The supplied plastic sheets convince with a high-gloss, UV-resistant surface, but are also produced in supermat designs for this vehicle.

In addition, the electric mobility industry depends on technically advanced plastic solutions, therefore Universal Polythex has developed a system in order to meet the high demand of flame retardancy required for the production of battery coatings, which is now also used by other electric mobility manufacturers.
