Universal Polythex continues its investment strategy in new technologies and products.
You know the advantages of corona treatment in the area of thin plastic films. After all, they have been established for decades. Unfortunately, the classic corona technology is usually limited to 2-dimensional materials with a thickness of up to a few millimeters.
Our clients can now benefit from the linear Plasma technology, which is the first technology capable of treating materials with unlimited thickness.
- Linear Plasma combines the advantages of classic corona technology with those of plasma nozzle processes
- For the first time, it offers the practical option of treating materials of any thickness over a wide area without the need for a counter electrode
- In the area of plastic sheets, multi-skin sheets, sandwich sheets, decorative sheets or honeycomb structures can be treated efficiently and easily with Linear Plasma
Plasma technology ensures reliable adhesion of adhesives, printing inks, varnishes, and various insulating foams.
Universal Polythex now offers sheets up to 10 mm thick with this technology on the underside.
