My most important task is to guarantee and ensure continuous production, 24/7, 365 days a year. Furthermore, our most valuable asset is the machine park worth millions, for whose maintenance and servicing I am responsible. Because our company is owner-managed, the official channels are very short and the entire working environment is absolutely family-like.
Daniel, Technology
One of my most important tasks is assisting the technical manager in almost all matters, especially the complete handling of the commercial area and technical purchasing. I am also responsible for the work clothing of all commercial employees and manage the industrial trucks. In addition, together with the technical manager, I have a workshop team of around 10 people under me who are provided with work every day and who have to maintain technical support in our 4-shift production operation 24/7 using a shift schedule. Every day is different from the previous one and you learn something new every day. Then the fact that the business is owner-managed and that you are greeted personally by the managing director every morning plays a big role for me and therefore represents a certain kind of appreciation for me. The entire family environment is filled with respect, short official channels and flat hierarchies make Universal Polythex unique.
